Appearance:Layla is a young lady with firey red hair that hits her midback. She has large green eyes that rarely are touched by makeup. She isn't very tall and has grown to 5' 7''. She has long legs and pale skin. In the summer, she gets very pretty red freckles across her cheeks and her nose. Most of the time, Layla is creative with her hairstyles: pigtails, and pinned up but she keeps it long. Since her freshman year, Layla has become quite the trendsetter. She wears flattering clothes in earthtone colors, most often green. Sometimes called conservative, Layla doesn't like to show too much skin. But a hot pair of heels go great with a pair of jeans and a green t shirt! Her ears are pierced and she wears little, but fun, jewelery.
Personality: Layla is a headstrong girl, and very protective of natural wildlife. Her super power is being able to control nature. Mother Earth type figure with attitude. She cares about what happens to the Earth, using every ounce of energy for conservation and reduction. She's a dedicated young woman. Also, Layla will object to using her powers for frivelous reasons, and chooses only to when necessary or for the good of nature. She knows her stuff and doesn't mind piping up. Especially when it's for justice. She likes saving the world, eating chinese and botany. But lately, she's been focused on school. Since her freshman year, she has chosen to apply for Harvard Law. She will be able to defend the weak both in court, and on the streets. A very smart girl, Layla is getting honors for her good grades and productive projects. She has to keep busy or her mind wanders and gets lost in her dark past. Layla has not gotten on anyone's bad sides yet in High School, she's an all around good girl. But under that calm, quirky surface, Layla is still depressed. THe death of her good friend has marked her soul and keeps her second guessing evil plans. Making her a very effective heroine. She is a Vegan and Pacifist by choice. She never wants to hurt animals, plants or people. There are other ways to solve problems! She loves having fun, and throws a good sarcastic comment every once in a while. High School takes up a large part of her life, so she still has a lot to learn about life, people and the world around her. She may be mature among freshman and high school students, but she's got some growing up to do still.
Abilities/Strengths: Layla can control nature, anything from helping trees and flowers grow, to moving stumps out of the way. She is in tune with plant life and can even give a dead plant life again. She doesn't abuse this power however, using it only when it's for the good of the plant or to defend herself. She talks to plants too, and they understand. Conversations can get kind of interesting. Especially with the trees people ignore. With her skilled guidance and nurturing, plants can grow to spectacular size and length. This helps when Layla needs to defend herself. Lately she has been working on a solution to bug overpopulation.
Weapons: Layla uses her mind as a weapon. She's an amazing student and stays on top of her homework. And when necessary, her super power is a weapon. Being able to control plant life comes in handy, but not when it comes to bullets and swords. Layla uses her Hero Support tool kit which contains a first aid kit, a floatation device, a large ejectable net, rapelling rope and equipment, super glue, sleeping darts with a mild sedative, and scissors. She's learned to defend herself somewhat with various weapons, but is no way an expert on any.
Weaknesses: She isn't a very good combatist, usually having to run away or use the plants to help her. So if someone is better at fighting, she's out of luck. Layla is only human, and can be hurt just like a human. She is not indestructible, so her powers don't change her vulnerability. She's also a little emotional, and sometimes gets stuck on one subject for too long. And then other times, she's a bit of a ditz and cannot hold to one topic at all. Layla is a hopeless High School student at heart.
